How the “Tools” Work

As mentioned in the previous post, this website only focuses on the part of START that consists of providing people with intervention tools. This website was designed so that people can have access to all the intervention tools that START has to offer without having to complete the other parts of START (for more information on the other parts, refer to the previous post). Below is a description of the tools and a step-by-step tutorial for how to utilize the tools we offer. If you’re ready, start looking at the tools now.

Step-by-Step process for using the tools

Step 1:

Sign on to your account by clicking on the “My Tools” tab on the website dashboard (If you don’t have an account, refer to the How to Create an Account page)

Step 2:

Follow the link entitled “Tools” on the website dashboard to check out some of the intervention tools. Read through the ones that interest you.

Step 3:

Begin adding the tools that you want on your “My Tools” list by clicking the Add Tool button on the bottom right corner of the tool box. When you click this button the intervention tool then gets automatically added to your “My Tools” list. If you accidentally add one, you can remove that tool from your list by clicking the Remove Tool button on the bottom right corner of the tool box.

Step 4:

Once you have completed step 3, click on the “My Tools” tab on the website dashboard to review all of the tools you’ve added to your list. Be sure to makes changes to your list where you see fit. Again, you can remove a tool from your list by clicking the Remove Tool button on the bottom right corner of the tool box.

Step 5:

Now that you have filled your “My Tools” list with intervention tools that cater to your specific needs, be sure to update your list periodically. You can log back in to your account anytime and edit your “My Tools” list where you see fit. Be sure to keep your list current and practice the tools consistently.

Now you’re ready to start using the tools.
